If ever a parent had a child that they could not get to bed because of one reason or another they will certainly
understand the concept of Kids Tent Beds. Many children are famous for finding any reason not to go to bed, they
are thirsty, they have to go to the bathroom six times, etc. Others will say there are monsters under the bed
or in the closet. Parents become cranky and upset because of this.
Parents will look at Kids Tent Beds in the store and think it is a waste of time and money to own one. They
really might want to take a look, and they might find out that they are worth the time and money. Their child will
be willing to go to bed under the stars or in a race car. It is just an apparatus that fits over a twin bed. There
are some that are made for bunk beds as well. The children will then climb into it and are asleep in no time. These
can make bed time fun and will ease the parents’ nerves.
Kids Tent Beds are usually made of nylon and mesh, and do fit most twin beds. Be sure though they are flame
retardant and very well ventilated. Children want to feel safe and with a bed tent they have that feeling of
security and that nothing can hurt them while they sleep as long as they stay under the tent. Allow the child to
bring a small flashlight so it will help with their fear of the dark; or maybe a couple of their favorite toys.
Sometimes children just like to be alone especially if there are more siblings around.
Little girls would like nothing better to sleep in a castle, so there are Kids Tent Beds that look like a
castle, made just for her. Some of them even have little pockets inside so she can put her treasures in with her.
Other designs are flowers; dollhouses, houses just for Barbie and lady bugs.
There are Kids Tent Beds made just for little boys too. What little boy wouldn’t love to sleep in a tree house
or a train engine? Some are even designed in action heroes such as superman and spider man. Or maybe that little
boy of yours likes race cars, there are bed tents that look like a race car and will actually zip up for more
privacy.
When a toddler goes from the crib to a big kid’s bed, it can be daunting for them. They are used to their cribs,
with the slates around them, almost like a protection shield. Going to a regular bed may be quite scary for them.
This is where Kids Tent Beds can play a big role in the transition. Some parents will put many animals in there to
give a squeezed feeling, so the child will feel they are still in the crib. Put their favorite stuffed toys in with
them as they will feel a bit safer knowing their friends are there with them.
Most of the Kids Tent Beds are not expensive; you can find them at any big box store or maybe even a department
store. They usually start from around thirty dollars and may go up to one hundred dollars or more. It is well worth
the money to get your child asleep.
